Data deletion

Updated July 23, 2026

Stoic Intent does not require a user account. Most practice information remains on your device and can be deleted directly by you.

1. Delete data on your device

  1. Open Stoic Intent and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete all local data and confirm.
  3. You may also delete Stoic Intent from your device.

The in-app action removes the encrypted journal database, its encryption key, drafts, scheduled reminders, temporary exports, and the local subscription-status snapshot. Deleting local data does not cancel a store subscription.

2. Request deletion from our providers

To request deletion of analytics or support information that can reasonably be associated with you, email support@unswayapp.com with the subject “Stoic Intent Data Deletion Request.”

Include the platform you used, the approximate date of installation or support contact, and any pseudonymous identifier available in the app's safe diagnostics. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or journal entries.

Because Stoic Intent does not require an account and analytics identifiers are pseudonymous, we may not be able to locate a record without enough matching information.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Apple or Google controls your store account, payment method, transaction history, and subscription cancellation. A deletion request to Stoic Intent does not cancel an active subscription or erase records the store must retain. Manage the subscription through your store account.

4. What happens next

We will acknowledge a valid request and respond within the period required by applicable law, generally within 30 days. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or proof that a request was completed.

For more detail, read the Stoic Intent Privacy Policy.
